What Kat Found: Be-Bop-a-Lula

PrintYou know when you find a collection of cards where each one feels like it’s been designed just for you? And you can imagine exactly which card you would give to certain people in your life because it’s just perfect for them. That’s how I felt when I came across Be-Bop-a-Lula.

stationery uniBe-Bop-a-Lula was launched by Octavia O’Donovan; inspired by her love of stationery, design and sewing. She previously graduated with a degree in graphic design and went on to work for a number of design agencies in London.

Print stationery2With a growing collection of design-led greeting cards, homeware and accessories, every one of her items is designed and handmade in London, using vintage and UK-sourced materials. Her work has sold successfully at The Fashion and Textiles Museum, Liberty and The Designers Guild, (just a few of my favourite places right there) as well as in a range of exclusive shops around the UK and Europe.

skull PrintThere are lots more designs in her lovely shop where she also has some groovy multi-buy offers on her cards, if you fancy stocking up! You can also keep up with Octavia and her work on her blog or twitter.

Which one’s your favourite?

P.S. Does anyone else have that Be bop a lula (she’s my baby) song as an ear worm now?

Love cards and especially cat badges would love to sell some in Pebble and Dash seaside gift shop in Herne Bay Kent

Love those cat badges – I’ve been getting in to loads of quirky little things like this lately. I think it’s in a response to turning 31 – I refuse to age!

Yep, as soon as I mentioned to the other half there were some cool pictures and prints from a shop called Be-Bop-A-Lula, he started singing it! We’ve got a version of the song on our jukebox, think it’s Gene Vincent singing the tune. 🙂 xx
