Maths was never my strong point but I think I know a good outfit when I see one. And that’s just my point. I see so many great street-style shots but am not always sure how I can reenact them in real life and at my price point. So I’ve decided to start a little series on the blog dedicated to recreating some of my favourite outfits on Pinterest, all from pieces currently available on the high street.

It’s the weekend (hoorah) and even half term for some us (yay) so if you find yourself doing an online or virtual food shop at Sainsbury’s over the next couple of days, you might want to check out the Tu Clothing section / site. There are some seriously nice pieces at some bargainous prices. I am eyeing up that brown trench coat (and trying not to add to my pleated skirt / striped top / granny shoe collection.)
Three key styles, two different price points.
I know I should be feeling all the colourful spring florals right about now, but I’ve been getting into monochrome lately and the high street is awash with every combination from gingham to windowpane checks. Time to start seeing things in black and white I think.
Received wisdom would dictate that you never, ever buy the crazy or impractical when sales shopping, even if it does fit and it is a real bargain. But I would argue, that on occasion, you really can still strike it lucky. And sometimes, the sales are the only time you can truly justify and allow yourself that slightly bonkers but brilliant item you’ve always wanted. So I’ve scoured the shops for just a few of those wonderful, wildcard pieces that might just be perfect.
