I should really entitle this post, ‘Why I BOUGHT a pink suit’ since I’m doing that thing where I buy something I’ve been mildly obsessing about and then need to justify it to myself via the blog. But seriously, I would normally shy away from buying a matching trouser suit, especially in pink, but I think these two pieces might just prove to be some of the most versatile items I own this summer.
Having extolled the virtues of denim alternatives, I thought it only fair (in true contradictory blogger fashion) to write a post about how I’m actually wearing my jeans lately; namely my new-found love of ‘Mom’ jeans.

Welcome to the second instalment of a new feature I’m calling Outfit Mathematics, where I pick one of my favourite looks from Pinterest and recreate it using pieces currently available from the high street. Spring is supposed to be a time of renewal – out with the old and in with the new, as they say. So it feels like time to shake things up a bit.
Few things make my heart beat faster than good stationery. Why, I’m not sure. Let’s be real people, half of it just sits on my desk looking nice rather than actually serving a purpose but in such cases I hold fast to the saying ‘a thing of beauty is a joy forever’ (and a notebook will always get used at some point).
